Membership & Community Core Committee (MCCC)

Charge

  • The MCCC is responsible for identifying the needs of different segments of the membership/field today and providing insights into emerging areas of immunology/collaborative fields, so membership/benefits are best aligned to the needs of the full community AAI must serve to advance its mission.
  • The MCCC provides perspective to staff in the development of value proposition/membership benefits and works collaboratively with staff to design and recommend to Council an ever-efficient membership process.
  • MCCC is a resource to design solutions for constituency-based or interest-focused issues. As AAI explores and offers communities of practice and/or interest groups, those groups will be aligned and overseen by the MCCC.

  • This committee embodies the principle that diverse voices enrich and advance science. The committee partners with BECC to ensure that the breadth of the immunology community is represented among event and program participants.
